Two accused of raping 13-year old girlhttp://www.maltastar.com/images/system/1px.gifSat, 22 March 2008 http://www.maltastar.com/images/system/1px.gifJummah Mohammed Aka, 27, from Niger was on Friday accused of raping a 13-year-old girl and holding her against her will while, Abdalla Danganoma, 21, also from Niger was charged with defiling the underage girl and violently and indecently assaulting her in St Paul's Bay last month.
The two were accused of defilement and of violent, indecent assault.
They pleaded not guilty to the charges before Magistrate Joseph Apap Bologna.
The two men were remanded in custody.
Police Inspectors Raymond Aquilina and Melvyn Camilleri are prosecuting officers.
