View Full Version : Failed asylum seekers refuse to go

PBS 20:00 news reported that a Lm25,000 Air Malta flight to the capital of Mali went with just 4 people instead of the planned 9, as 5 refused to go, and apparently the authorities 'surrendered' to their plea. Seems also that other immigrants went in and supported this criminal subversive act.
Their identification and document issuing was the fruit of a year's work between the maltese and mali embassy in Libya.
PBS said that the flight was paid by the Maltese Government. The foreign minister had the gull to call it 'forced repatriation'.
Where is the force and the baton?

If a person walks into a restaurant and refuses to budge from a seat, is the restauranteer supposed to let him stay the night? He either ejects the person or has the police eject the person.
In this light "forced repatriation" is a clear example of politics in action...
While I see nothing wrong with other immigrants showing support - they are bound by similar circumstances - there remains that little matter of the law preventing unauthorized groupings of people (its a misguided law but a law nontheless). I take it that the authorities did not enforce it on this occasion?
In any case the "system" that Malta follows is unsustainable and bereft of purpose.

It goes to show that without a strong leadership, nothing can be achieved.

Would that make you grand inquisitor extraordinaire? 9_9
You should focus more of your energies towards fixing the mess and less upon those you blame for it. ^_~

LM25,000 for 9 people?? and out of the 9, 5 refused to go?
that works out at how much per person exactly? and does this form part of the LM1 per person per annum that we supposedly contribute to our klandestini?

Funny you should mention 'Toto' Calypso. It reminded me of the film,'My Kitchen toto'.The story of a young Kikuyu kitchen 'toto' at the time of the Mau Mau uprising in 1950's Kenya.:)

A bit of maths to irritate the lady !!
Lm25,000 for NINE would be Lm2777 EACH but ONLY FOUR went on this excursion, at a cost to YOU of Lm6250 EACH !!
Yep, works out at about Lm1 per person per year !!
CANNOT get to be more pathetic can it ??

thanks for the math cikk. makes it look even more realistic - and downright vulgar
LM6250 per person would have taken a maltese tax payer on how many club class holidays?

DON'T be so extravagant lady !! Why club class ?? We, the tax payers, use the cheopo flights at Lm13, sleep in the underground and eat grass so if we take a round figure of each person spending Lm100 that would equal to 250 good hearted Maltese enjoying a well deserved holiday !!
P.S.: If you don't have Valium, I can pass you some, that is if there is any left !!

dont worry cikk. you're not alone.
i've just come back from a 9 day holiday which cost 3 people $4000 in flights + all taxes and accomodation.
to get those relatively cheap rates, we flew via milan and spent over 10 hours in a friggin airport waiting around for connecting flights.
extravagant? my ass

u leee dont worry :) it was 10 hours because i exagerated ..... 5 hours going and another 5.5 hours on our return flight which was pretty bad actually because i was running a very high fever. i solved the problem by taking some night nurse at the airport and falling asleep. almost ended up taking a flight to the congo but anyhow  just as well kiddo was around to wake me up and take me to the flight to malta :D

I watched the late night PBS news Saturday evening. This story about the reluctant deportees was mentioned. More importantly the reason why they were not deported was also mentioned. The other criminal klandestini in detention threatened to riot if these Mali immigrants were deported against their will.
This happened in spite of the presence of a substantial number of police and army personnel. So there you have it, not that we did not know it, but it has now surfaced. The Maltese government led by the P.N. (Pansy Nancies) does not have the balls to enforce the law in the African villages sprouting up all over Malta. When Rizzo said....... well a picture is worth a thousand words......

I had predicted this in my Nigret Speech (available on U-tube) -
when I said that Govt will not be able to repatriate the illegal savages, should they resist.
And we have come to that - so sorry to repeat : I told you so!
This Govt, led by Il-Patetiku - Bicca ex-President tal-Azzjoni Kattolika -
is committing treason - the betrayal of it's own People.
It has abdicated in the two most important fields: Race and Territory.
And Graffitti, veritable Anarchists, squeal that we should not send African primitives back to Libya.
Anarchists and Jesuits : always together - a history of collusion.
Jesuits manipulating Anarchists to do their bidding.
