jazz fest used to be totally brill until a few years ago. this year its really reached the pits :(

such a shame! i knew people who used to come to malta specifically for the jazz fest. now they'll come to see alan parsons .... ye right! jazz my ass.

Since its beginning the Jazz Festival was in the hands of Charles city gatt, at the cultural ministry. Now it seems that it was taken by nng, who apparently knows nothing about Jazz.

The name is now misleading, considering the lineup.

For the past 16 yrs, the Malta Jazz Festival had its highs and lows, particularly in organisation, but many big names were brought, on all instruments, sometimes more than once.
