Call for Proposals

European Refugee Fund

The ministry for justice and home affairs is inviting proposals from interested organisations including non-governmental organisations (NGOs), international organisations working on a non-profit basis as well as government entities and departments, for projects to be supported by the european refugee fund(council decision 2004/904/EC)

Selected projects are subject to both local and european union regulations, in particular financial and procurement regulations and will be monitored ,evaluated and audited as required to ensure correct financial and administration of the projects.

Project proposals (in printed form) must be submitted by hand( except those recieved from abroad) at the following address -Responsible Authority-European Refugee Fund Director, Third Country Nationals,House of Catalunya, Valletta,(tel 22957142), by no later than Noon of the 8th July 2005.A receipt shall be given for applications recieved by the deadline.

whatever happened to eu funds to combat illegal immigration into malta?the govt are asking for eu money to fund illegal immigrant projects???what's that all about?

hope these are not settlement funds. sincerely hope that. since it would be nothing good. but apparently they are not.

people were taken for a ride. They are making them 'refugees', such that they will not remain 'illegal immigrants'.

i would say 'regularised illegals' is the correct term.

how can you regularise illegality??the govt says so and we swallow that crap.i dont think so.already the media deems them irregular.fucking word play.when some one discards their proof of identity(which is a crime in its own right) to enter a country the law is broken.then they lie about their country of origin to claim asylum for something that does not exist in their region, country.yeah right...stupid white man syndrome.
