Malta’s Bermuda triangle: Immigrants, over taxation & Welfare – By Bennej
Malta has a Bermuda triangle of its own. These three factors are draining the life out of us and out of our nation. These three problems cannot be attacked individually but altogether. Why cannot they be attacked individually? Because one supports the other, one needs the other.
Illegal immigrants cannot be kicked out if the current orgy of welfare is not chopped by the axe, which in turn must also reflect in a serious reduction in taxes.
The immigrants are filling some working gaps that some lazy Maltese are calling as low jobs. The governments is spawning the ill mentality of satisfaction by some Maltese nationals in seeing Blacks working on sweaty jobs, thanks to rampant welfare handouts to the lazy Maltese. The Government has also installed this sense of pseudo “money no problem” mentality of Malta, and that Maltese are now in the luxury of rejecting the sweat jobs. Scammel trucks are now being manned by Africans – with some Maltese being so short sighted are seeing this as a blessing saying the these blacks are getting the “inferior” jobs the Maltese no longer want to do, therefore they reason the Maltese are getting the better jobs. Welfare is cushioning the immigrant’s presence. Most Maltese aren’t alarmed with this immigration problem because they’re comfortably numb in their protective welfare shell.
This is a suicidal mentality fuelled by welfare. Many join the bandwagon and opt not to work for some incredible reason. They stay at home and get a cheque that’s got enough money to disincentive job search. This vicious circle turns by a Robin Hood mechanism that loots the striving individual to feed the lazy. Of course the lazy is always camouflaged by some “poor boy” title.
When I was young I was thought that sex before marriage is sinful, and any girl pregnant before marriage got heavily discredit in the society. Nowadays single mother not only loose points in society, but also are prized with apartments and welfare cheques. This band of persons are on the increase thank mainly to the government that in doing so is attracting young ladies to stay as a sucking piglet and cohabit with some lazy father unwilling to carry his consequences. What was sinful yesterday has become rewarding today.
The story of the Cat:
I once adopted a stray cat to help me settle some score in my rat infested farm. The cat woke up in the morning feeling hungry and spent hours busy hunting stealthily the rat population.
One fine day I felt pity to this cat always hunting and tense waiting for the absent minded rat to pass by, so I started feeding it one can of sardines a day. I was pleased the see the cat spending hours in the sun licking its coat.
After a couple of months I found out that the rats had started again to nest in the hay. Rat urine stanched the whole barn, and the cat was nowhere to be seen ready to pounce for a scurrying rat.
The next day I stopped my sardine ration. The cat moaned and purred, but I resisted. After a week when the cat got alarmingly thin, I noticed it back to its hunting technique.
Nowadays the rat population has always been in cheque and spending no money on sardine cans.
This story says a lot. Removing the welfare from the cat not only go me cheaper but got the cat back in shape and doing its job. If the Government chops the welfare handouts we will see many “slip-disc Joe” and “poor raped Mary” suddenly getting there hands dirty with some job to earn a living.
Only at this point can immigrants be kicked out for good.
