Lyrics: Latin Original
(only to be sung in Latin, never another language)
I Ave, Europa, nostra vera patria!
Omnes Europaei te salutant.
Multae gentes summus,
sed tantum stirpes una.
Stemus nos fratres, nunc et semper
II Ave, Europa; magna fons scientiae,
philosophiaeque, laudamus te.
Mundo luciferi sunt populi aquilae;
aquila se tollat sine cancellis
III Ave, Europa, tibi fidem spondemus;
no-o-bilitas tua aeterna est.
Ubicumque summus, in orbe aut astribus,
ibi es nobiscum semper in spiritu.
Ave, Europa, nostra vera pa--tria

Lyrics: English translation
I Hail, Europe, our true fatherland!
All Europeans salute you
We are many tribes, but only one stock. [race]
Let us be kindred, now and always.
II Hail, Europe, great source of science,
and philosophy, we praise thee.
Light-bearers to the world are the Peoples of the Eagle
let the Eagle soar without limits. [boundaries]
III Hail, Europe! To thee we pledge loyalty;
thy nobility is eternal.
Wherever we may be, on earth on in the heavens,
thou art with us in spirit.
Hail Europe, our true fatherland

Ave, Ewropa, art twelidna!

I Heil Dir Europa, unser wahres Vaterland!
Lichtbringer der Welt sind die Völker des Adlers;
schwebt doch der Adler ohne Grenzen.
III Heil Dir Europa! Treue geloben wir Dir,
ewig ist Dein Seelenadel.
Gleich wo wir sind, auf der Erde oder im All,
bist Du mit uns im Geiste.
Heil Dir Europa, unser wahres Vaterland! |

Grêle, l'Europe! À vous nous promettons la loyauté;
votre noblesse est éternelle.
Où que nous puissions être, sur la terre ou dans le paradis,

An Alternative to the Alternative
“THERE IS NOBODY ELSE!” – Norman Lowell - 10th May 2005

Love for our country, for our race, for our people. Preservation of our heritage and our culture. Putting
Malta and the Maltese first and foremost. This was the main theme of Norman Lowell’s latest speech.
Lowell explained how the Alternattiva Demokratika had reached an agreement, and effectively formed a
bond, with the Partit Nazzjonalista in preparation for the next General Elections. He clarified that our
movement should not and would never reach an agreement with either the MLP or the PN. Our movement
is for Malta and the Maltese; therefore we will keep our options open and always be with whichever major
Party that is acting in the best interests of our country. We cannot pledge blind allegiance to either
party.
During his speech, Norman Lowell also gave credit to Fr. Mark Montebello after Fr. Mark had insisted that
during the Seminar entitled “Why do we deny hate motivated crimes?” Normal Lowell would be a participant. Some of the other participants had objected to the presence of Norman Lowell on the panel, but Fr Mark insisted that the seminar would not go ahead without Norman’s presence. Thus the seminar was cancelled. Fr. Mark was commended for his stance on the right of every individual to express himself, and that includes Norman Lowell. It is ironic
that the other speakers in this seminar were the same people who claim to be proponents of freedom of speech. However it was
only Fr. Mark who stood by his beliefs when putting words into deeds.
Remaining on a local basis, Lowell’s electoral promises, if he should decide to contest the election, will not be written on paper,
or spoken to pander to the whims of the people, but chiselled in granite. A promise is a promise, according to Norman Lowell.
Complete and unwavering loyalty to theMaltese people - that is what Norman is promising to the people of Malta when our
Movement is represented in Parliament.
Moving away from the local scene and onto the European sphere, Norman Lowell explained how he would form a New Right
coalition emphasising that prominent established New Right MEP’s, who today have no affiliations, are listed as independents, or
worse, have joined extreme left coalitions. These true Rightists would be able to join together, under the wing of Imperium
Europa in Brussels.
