The Maltese people have good reasons to cause economic pain on its enemies.
Church: The money for the missions never reached its destinations.
Large companies: They assist and use cheap labour.
Media: Clearly against the Maltese people with every word uttered.
EU: Corruption comes gratis.
Wicked response with new ideas can have a painful economic effect.:D

Check what I write is true, the money does not reach the missions, only the goods, such as toys, cans of food..ect ect but never the money. That goes to the Vatican, always.

Cost of living rockets to an alarming 5.6% record increase

Inflation soared to an alarming 5.6 per cent last month up from 4.4 per cent in June – the biggest jump in the cost of living since Malta started recording the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices 10 years ago.
The National Statistics Office said on Thursday that the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices, the European Union’s preferred inflation gauge, leapt to 5.6 per cent on the back of rocketing water, electricity, gas and other fuels index, mainly brought about by doubling of the surcharge rate.
This beat analysts’ predictions who had told maltastar.com a month ago that inflation could reach 5 per cent by the end of the year.
The 5.6 per cent is way above any inflation rate recorded in the last three years as published by the NSO. In fact, inflation peaked to 4.4 per cent last month, and the second highest record was in November 2005 at 4.3 per cent.
The main driver was the hefty rise in the housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels index, which spiralled to 8.2 per cent, increasing by 12 per cent in a period of a year. Last month government has unilaterally decided to raise the surcharge paid on electricity and water bills from 50 per cent to 95 per cent.
