"Every party had a political plan of some sort for the Maltese economy. Some worked and others failed.
What is the state of our economy today? Everyone will give a different interpretation but many would agree that it's hard to make ends meet today and our economy has it's own swings. The country moves for the sake of moving but not exactly a great success.
I heard many great ideas for our economy, by many people but we keep missing the boat or dropping great ideas while doing them. We are failing on this front and will keep on doing so for one main reason. We Maltese have a cultural problem that holds us from becoming booming economy, we must sort out these cultural issues first, which will remove the restraints to create a successful economy.
To achieve this we must invest in politics by restructuring the whole political concept. A true realistic vision for a Maltese economy will only come with strong leadership in the political field."
