read before you write. that is what i am saying. the senate (or whatever you want to call it) would control what is common to europeans only. Maltese affairs are Maltese affairs. This was the original idea behind the USA. Democracy was their disease that destroyed the founding fathers dreams.
I usually read texts more than once before I write.
So, I understand your above message in a way, that "the original idea behind the USA was that Maltese affairs are Maltese affairs".
Furthermore, I understand that you classify democracy as a disease.
Therefore, I wish to ask whether IE/VM are, or can be, democratic.
You referred originally to the concept of "some far off senate" and hence I wish to ask about the nature and the members of the "far off senate".

In order to save space, I refrain from quoting your last post in my direction.
However, I have following to comment:
1. I do not understand what you mean when you say that "a few rules can not be broken".
2. How has the "sense" of "complete freedom" and "absolute liberalism" changed?
3. Has your concept of "tyranny" perhaps also a new sense, which would then make the use of guns (as the ultimate guarantee of freedom) unnecessary?
4. As a definition of "true Americans" you state "believers in liberty". Earlier on, you stated that democracy destroyed America. Would that mean that liberty and democracy do not go together?
5. I still miss your answer as to what "true Maltese" are.
6. I have seen various pictures of "Europids" and not all were blond and fair skinned. So, I was wondering whether a really dark-skinned non-blonde would be acceptable for IE/VM, if the dark-skinned non-blonde would "not break Imperium rule".

yes indeed. In the imperium sense what is imperium affairs remains imperium affairs and what is dominium affairs are dominium affairs. in this case European affairs are european affairs and what are maltese affairs are maltese affairs.
Furthermore, I understand that you classify democracy as a disease.
I dont like to quote the fat drunkard but churchill once said that 'democracy is the worst system of politics except for all the rest'
He recognised the limitations of democracy as do I. America's flaw was that it was intoxicated with the spirit of the french revolution and declared that 'all men are equal'. This was her undoing in its 'democratic' way of doing things.
As the three sections of governments were so well balanced out with the Executive, Legislative and Judiciary brances all pulling against each other. The same should have been done to balance out what has become the tyranny of the majority. Britian had a system that used to work with the Lords balancing the democratic commons. It was not a perfect system either. Blair has all but ruined it now.
Therefore, I wish to ask whether IE/VM are, or can be, democratic.
as a movement or in a proposal for a governmental system?

that is the European equivalent of the british house of lords i suppose. or even todays european commssion
They would be some form of elite. the problem is how they get there. i prefer they are chosen from the existing elite. but there are still problems....
democracy could be used too for a lower chamber (sounds like the EU huh?)
they would govern what is common to Europeans.

[QUOTE=Semper Sapiens] 1. I do not understand what you mean when you say that "a few rules can not be broken".
as in race.
2. How has the "sense" of "complete freedom" and "absolute liberalism" changed?
liberalism in todays sense of the word does not mean freedom.
3. Has your concept of "tyranny" perhaps also a new sense, which would then make the use of guns (as the ultimate guarantee of freedom) unnecessary?
balance is always needed. the spirit of the founding fathers of America was not respected so what guarantee do we have that our wishes will continue. what is stopping imperium from becoming tyrannical?
4. As a definition of "true Americans" you state "believers in liberty". Earlier on, you stated that democracy destroyed America. Would that mean that liberty and democracy do not go together?
not when democracy is abused as it is today. today we have a dictatorship of the ignorant as opposed to freedom for voters. democracy has its flaws as do all systems. the founding fathers of America added the right to bear arms as they understood that nothing is perfect. (i think)
5. I still miss your answer as to what "true Maltese" are.
so do I. I dont think they have ever been allowed to truly express themselves
6. I have seen various pictures of "Europids" and not all were blond and fair skinned. So, I was wondering whether a really dark-skinned non-blonde would be acceptable for IE/VM, if the dark-skinned non-blonde would "not break Imperium rule".
im not an anthropologist so I couldnt define one properly. generally we speak of native Europeans. being blonde haired is hardly a pre-request.
